Dr. Pisani is a Board certified gynecologic oncologist and Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also a full member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. After receiving his undergraduate and medical degrees from Northwestern University, he completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Following residency, he practiced general obstetrics and gynecology, and conducted research before beginning a Fellowship in gynecologic oncology at UCLA. He then accepted a position as assistant professor at Rush University and Cook County Hospital in Chicago, where he was on faculty until joining the Women's Cancer Center in August of 1996. Dr. Pisani now serves as Medical Director of the Women's Cancer Center at San Diego. He is a skilled surgeon and has particular interest in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. |
