Dr. Kimball is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Gynecologic Oncology. He received his M.D. degree at the University of Southern California where he remained for a Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics and a Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology. He was a PhD Candidate in Comparative Pathology at the University of California, Davis. Prior to joining the Women's Cancer Center, Dr. Kimball was Director of Gynecologic Oncology at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Francisco for approximately ten years. As such, he was responsible for the care of women with cancer of the reproductive organs, as well as for Resident education in gynecology and surgery technique.
