Dr. Kupets received her Bachelor of Science in Medicine and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Manitoba. She completed a Surgical Internship, followed by a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, also at the University of Mantiboa. She continued with a Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Toronto, where she also studied for her Masters degree in Cliical Epidemiology.

Dr. Kupet's publications include research in the area of Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening, Cancer staging and the effectiveness of Tamoxifen.
